Our Home provides the following for the elderly :

a)  Security: Our elderly and staff are in a secure location, under video camera surveillance 24h/day.

b)  Facilities adapted to Senior citizens with special attention to handicapped-accessible facilities, such as pathways, modified curbs and elevators.

c)  Trained staff for the elderly, including a social worker.

d)  Tailored dietary plans for every resident.  Furthermore, to guarantee a part of the food supply during times of political turmoil, we have our own garden adjacent to our building, where we grow a variety of vegetables all year around.

e)  We mandate external Medical Doctors specialized in General Pathology and Gerontology for treating our occupants and for monitoring  their medical conditions.

f) We have consecrated a small building of as our office facility, for centralizing our services and our availability, and for providing a welcoming place for our visitors.  We have equipped it with all modes and cons of a functional office.

g)  We house some members of our staff within our Home, and in an adjacent house within the premises of our property, in order to guarantee their availability 24 hours per day, and to minimize our budget costs.

On an inter-personal level, our activities include:

a)  Craft activities adjusted to the needs and potential of elderly people (reading, knitting, and cross-stitching)

b)  Entertainment through various games aiming at a better interaction between the elderly and primarily for maintaining intellectual stimulation.

c)  We organize occasions for the elderly people to meet with young people (scouts, clubs, and local associations).  We emphasize this primarily to avoid the confinement of our Senior citizens and to sensitise our youth to the needs of this special category of our community.

d)  On set dates we cater for the religious needs of our residents, either by transporting them to religious places, or by bringing religious representatives in our Home.

e)  Care, attention and listening.  We believe that sharing our affection with the elderly of our community is a sine qua non condition for making this work, so we visit them regularly.  We equally encourage locals and foreigners to visit with our residents and staff.  Such opportunities are uplifting for all of us.
