Brief History Our Policy Facilities & Services Social Impact Our Policy

An Open Policy:  We do not discriminate on the basis of religious beliefs and sex.  Our occupants are Christians and Muslims and we cater for both men and women.  In Bethlehem and surrounding areas there are only two Homes for the elderly.  We currently house 11 residents for a population of 50,000 people.  Our Home is the only one accepting both men and women in Bethlehem region.

Internally, we are supported by the inhabitants of our community, through various fundraising occasions.  Primarily, we work with funds from Palestinians in Bethlehem region and our Palestinian Diaspora across the globe.  We do not entirely depend on international aid, and are currently working toward expanding our facility in order to become completely self-sufficient and independent.

In the past we have been supported and we maintained good relations with reputable individuals and institutions.  Primarily, the British Consulate, the Welfare Association, the Onaway trust, and the Pontifical mission have come to our aid.  In all circumstances we have proved our ‘good faith’ towards our donors, occupants, staff and community.
