Current and Previous Donors
The Projects we have accomplished
were difficult for us to complete without the generous support and cooperation
of many donors, such as the Belgium Cooperation, Pontifical Mission, the British
Consulate, the Welfare association, The Onaway Trust, Secretariat de Solidarité,
St. George Orthodox Church in Canada, and many other local and foreign
institutions and individuals.

B. How you can Support us?
Our goal as an organization is not primarily to
subtract funds. According to our ideology, contributions can be made in
kind within the following scheme:
a) Opportunities for volunteers to come and work
in situ on current projects, ranging from manual work to logistics, as well
as visiting and encouraging the elderly and our team. All special skills
are welcome and with good will we have been able to accomplish much with little.
b) We offer the possibility to people from
all over the world to adopt one or more of our elderly. This opportunity
consists in transmitting a brief history of the resident and keeping contact
with him or her while they stay at our Home. Furthermore, donations are
welcome for sustaining and maintaining individuals.
c) Donating to our
institution for its expansion. We have been privileged this far to have
been able to renovate this facility, but we are in urgent need of expansion so
as to be able by 2009 to house twice our current capacity.
Demographically, we are facing a growing Senior citizen population, the needs of
which need to be met.

C. How Does the funding work?
Since
we are a non-governmental body, governed by legal statutes pertaining to
charitable organizations, we are the only recipients of the funds donated.
Once the funds are received, they are presented to our board and geared towards
the specific project undertaken. Full accountability is provided to all
donors. Furthermore, our accounting manuals are open to consultation.
Our agenda is uniquely charitable, all incomes are declared, although we are
exempt from taxes under charity laws.
